The Russian Central Bank has come up with its own set of proposals to add to the Parliament's working group on crypto regulation that was formed back in December. The head of Bank of Russia's Financial Stability Department presented a report that essentially suggests a full ban on crypto payments, mining, and transactions in the country.

Crypto barter then. Can't ban bartering. Build parallel systems.

Totalitarian regime tries to control decentralised currency. What a surprise.

Also it is funny they did not even try to forbid owning crypto assets. Almost as if it was impossible to enforce.

had to be done long time ago. not sure how a currency which is basically created by using electricity exists in the times when we talk about climate crisis and CO2 emissions?
