Prior to the Honor V30's launch, the rumor mill yielded theories that Huawei would debut a Kirin 985 processor to go with it. However, they were debunked when the same phone launched with the 990 instead. Now, OnLeaks asserts that the former SoC is in fact a thing and will power an upcoming mid-range phone.

Seems there's a lack of review of any D1000 powered device, I've been curious about it since the launch.
