Meizu is slowly developing a reputation for offering good premium hardware at mid-range price points, and the newest device out of the company's stables, the Meizu 16T, continues that trend. A Snapdragon 855, Super AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and a 4500 mAh battery. Price tag? US$280.

No notification LED on that bezel? I guess that makes this phone a no-buy.

Flyme 8 has AOD, I believe.
Wow, that's a massive undercut considering Meizu flagships are usually more expensive. I wonder where does Meizu cut corners in this phone. Aside from the software which I have never used, this is one seriously compelling package and is perhaps the cheapest S855 phone to date..
Flyme is an excellent Launcher in my opinion but if you don't like it simply install a different Launcher of your choosing!
It winds me up when people complain "this OS is so unrefined, it's a deal breaker" when it's actually a minor issue which is easily resolved!
The price for what you're getting is awesome, the build quality is on par with the likes of Samsung etc.
And just so you know, Meizu are a very innovative company that many of the world's best known brands have copied ideas from, don't let silly prejudiced thoughts like "but they're Chinese, everything they make is shite" and "but aren't they spying on us" stop you from checking them out!
