Since yesterday, multiple reports have surfaced indicating that Google is set to release a new device called the Google Pixel XE. The provided pieces of evidence, however, look incredibly suspect and there's a chance the entire thing is a hoax.

The side buttons are not the Google pixel layout (power button above, volume button below) while the image clearly shows the volume buttons above and near the top. Also it's really easy to change the name of a device on Android and if it was a new Google pixel device it would just say pixel ex (like the pixel 5 it's just called the pixel 5 in the about device menu the same goes for every pixel that Google has ever released) not Google pixel ex.
