Samsung is rolling out its RAM Plus feature to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. RAM Plus increases smartphone memory capacity by using 4GB of internal storage. Initially, the feature was only available to the Galaxy A52s 5G. Samsung is now rolling out RAM Plus to more smartphones and tablets.

I would be very interested in knowing more about this like

is this ram plus just as fast as normal ram ?

when playing games does this mean u can play even very demanding games that arent normally possible and same thing for heavy apps ?

Harddrive virtual memory is never as fast as actual ram and afaik the principle to generate "more ram" via storage exists already for about what? over 25 years?....just Google "virtual ram"
this misconception led probably to the "just download more ram" meme.

This works well for keeping the phone a disposable device. Just wreck the NAND flash.
