Title: Plans for additional production lines for the iPhone XR halted by Apple: Report
Post by: Redaktion on November 05, 2018, 23:40:26
Apple has instructed its smartphone assemblers Foxconn and Pegatron to halt plans for allocating additional production lines to the new iPhone XR model sensing low product demand. Another iPhone assembler, Wistron, has been ordered to standby for any rush orders. Interestingly, Apple has ordered increased production of the year-old iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus from its suppliers.

Of course no one is going to buy. It raised the prices across the board. "Low" end devices work if they are priced appropriately lower.

If you can afford a $749 phone, why not go for the higher end ones?
