Title: New Pixel-series hardware defects may result in another lawsuit for Google
Post by: Redaktion on June 23, 2020, 00:15:21
A law firm has posted an invitation to Pixel 3 users to contribute to a class action it may build against Google for hardware issues in this phone. In addition, it is claimed that the device's camera results in unacceptable jittering and crashing. Dissatisfied owners may now fill out an online form in order to join this potential suit.

"if the phone in question has exhibited abrupt battery drain and shuts down as a result." - This behaviour is typical for a "end-of-life battery" which needs to be replaced by a new one. Do Google replace the battery in these cases under warranty?

Oh, I skimmed through too quickly and was talking about this: "The suit now under evaluation may also be based on another problem in which the 3's camera interface "shakes and vibrates" in a way that impacts on the quality of images or video taken with it."
No comment regarding the battery drain.
