Samsung hat nach eigenen Angaben als erster Hersteller ein Smartphone mit 5G-Funkmodul erfolgreich getestet. Im Labor erreichte das Gerät eine Geschwindigkeit von 1 GBit/s. Im Jahr 2020 soll diese Technologie marktreif sein.
