Title: Rumored Sony tablets may have been cancelled
Post by: Redaktion on June 04, 2018, 23:25:55
There were recent rumors that Sony had been working on new Android-powered tablets that were known as the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5C. However, apparently the Japanese tech giant has now decided to shelve the idea of releasing new tablets onto the market because of the lackluster sales for premium products such as the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact.

Sony's issue is pricing. And you removed the damn headphone jack from the XZ2 and XZ2 Compact. Your claim to fame is audio, but you just ditch the jack. No. No. No.

Could we at least convince them to come out with an XA2 Ultra with app2sd, 6gb RAM, 64gb storage and a mild spec bump? SD 636 or 660 maybe?

Not progressing means falling behind. From users point of view, they lack a lot of tech devices, not just tablets.
Their phones also lead in just few features, also not copying others in what is a success(tele lens, animoji, own AI) fast enough.
Its slow death.
