Title: The POCO F3 may not be the return of a true Poco smartphone that fans of the brand were hoping for

The POCO F3 will not be an original device, as the Pocophone F1 was in 2018. Instead, the FCC has inadvertently confirmed that the POCO F3 will be a re-branded Redmi K40,. The POCO F3 will also feature the Snapdragon 870, which is a repackaged Snapdragon 865 itself.

Why do people care if it's an original device? Not selling it in China, doesn't make a phone better. Actually, it's the other way around. If you sell it in China, you sell more devices overall, so you can get pieces cheaper, which translates into a bit cheaper price.

This reminds me of how GM handled Saturn. They onlay llowed tthem o release a single, original model, and onwards just rebaged Opel and Chrysler cars. Here it's more of same. They created oppo simply to create a sensation, and cash in without the effort of the initial launch. Great idea, poor execution sadly.
