A previously unseen series of patent applications and associated imagery for the rumored Surface Phone / Andromeda PC have emerged. They show that Microsoft is mulling a range of solutions for making the device responsive to how it is being held or used at any time.

I will definitely be getting the Surface Phone when (assuming it is) released, but something I would like to see as soon as possible is information on any new APIs for the new form factor (such as detecting whether it is open or closed) so that I can update my apps appropriately.

No, it would have  to be a Windows device and OS
