Title: Review Packard Bell EasyNote ME69BMP Netbook
Post by: Redaktion on December 26, 2013, 07:51:30
Bay Trail in a notebook. Packard Bell's 10-inch notebook is already available for just under 300 Euros (~$410). For that sum the buyer will receive Windows 8, a touchscreen and MS Office Home & Student 2013. The device runs on a new Bay Trail Celeron. Is the little notebook worth the money? Our review reveals the answer.

Thanks; I bought the device and realized it even supported multi-touch; really cool; I didn't expect that (i.e. it was nowhere advertised to feature multi-touch).

Runs HD films just fine with BIOS update and an installl of windows 7 64bit. The hatch on the bottom DOES come off actually... just remove the keyboard by using a fine point on the retainer tabs then remove the 5 screws marked "door" and push the tab marked "door" and the entire bottom "fake" hatch pops off to reveal full access to the fan, sodimm, HDD and wifi card.

There is only one memory slot but i swapped the 2gb supplied sodimm out with a 4GB ( max supported ) low voltage part and it works fine. Much snappier and i also fitted an SSD. It boots up into win7 almost instantly and can actually play World of warcraft ( just about ).
