Since the latest iPhone and the HTC Bolt, Moto Z, or the latest LeEco smartphones dropped this old connector, it would not be a surprise to see all high-end handsets abandon it by the end of the year.

I actually wont buy a new phone without 3.5mm jack.
No matter what.
I dont know about everyone but for me this is a no go.
Too.
And... are they saying that dust can't enter in an USB-C port ??? lol
yeah like apple would be always right - like with their ingenious decision to develop their own powerpc chips, which kept them years behind other pcs until they switched to intel processors in the early 2000s.
i wont buy a phone that does not support 3,5 cables and headphones. all the top notch headphones have a manual connector.
Don't be an Apple sheep for god sake
