This is why foldable phones were designed. To accommodate more screen real estate in a smaller pocketable package. This Galaxy Z flip offers the same screen real estate as a phablet or less. Compare the screen size of this is the Galaxy Fold and your comments of it been of better use are obviously wrong.

The Galaxy Fold is a better device and the only good reason to be happy about about this Galaxy Flip is the glass scree because the Galaxy Fold 2 should utilize such a upgrade.

The biggest improvement over the original Galaxy Fold coming with the Z Flip model is the addition of an ultra thin glass protective layer for the display, which should drastically reduce the failure rate. Among the other features we find a Snapdragon 855+ SoC, unfolded 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED screen, 1-inch frontal display, plus a 15 W wireless charger.
