Title: No, not the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X: the Nintendo Switch Pro could be your best bet for next-gen gaming
Post by: Redaktion on August 28, 2020, 14:43:12
The ninth console generation is rapidly approaching. However, with the rise of more powerful mobile hardware and the major strides made in terms of thin client game streaming, a mobile Nintendo Switch successor could prove to be a better ninth-gen pick than either the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

Wishful thinking but no Nintendo isn't the best bet as Microsoft has a powerhouse of a console but also a huge area which is a direct threat at Nintendo's mobile domination with xcloud.
Arguable a much better solution allowing anyone to play on pretty much anything that of which they most likely already own removing the need of buying a new console hardware as long as they have a game pass subscription you'll be good to go.
Fanboys shouldn't be permitted to write biased self interest articles ever.

" From The Witcher 3 to ... the Switch delivers current-gen gaming without compromising too much in experience..". Yeah but in a cost of massive compromise in graphics, so... no.. Besides Switch Pro information is currently higher than high  level rumors..

>The arrival of 5G means that we finally have a mobile internet solution that's capable of supporting game streaming.

3 years later, urban region of top 10 most populous US cities. Optimistic estimate. And there's gonna have to be mini-stations lining building interiors by the thousands, if not tens of thousands, just to ensure coverage of that limited range.

Best bet? You mean with the company that launched their switch with tons of problem like dead pixel when you receive it and when you complain you get the answer : "that is part of the electronics life, no refund or replacement" XD Best bet to make sure you have a good chance of receiving half-broken hardware and getting told to live with it XD

I belive this could happen. Next gen will probably be Sony and PS5 as the big powerhouse and Switch (Pro) as the alternative with Microsoft and Xbox getting more and more marginalized. Just consider how Switch has sold 15 million units more than Microsoft this generation and passed the Xbox One - in half the time! It's obvious that type of play style cater to many people and most don't care if it's 4K or whatever, they just want the game. I believe this article is on the right track, but streaming will probably not be part of it. Rather, if PS5 has a focus on 4K the Switch Pro will probably get next gen ports but running in 1080p instead, which most gamers will find good enough, I sure do as a happy Switch owner today (and to be honest, on such a small screen 4K wouldn't matter much over 1080p anyway.)

None of this is true. All BS
What "tons" of problems launched with the Switch ? Yes some units have Joy Con issues but those are fixed for free from Nintendo.
If you have a dead pixel why not return it to the store you purchased it from?
Every store will swap out a Switch if you have problems out of the box.
You seem very butthurt  it's wildly successful
You sound like a pissed off retarded fanboy XD
