a review of nothing. Neither the noise level was measured, nor the nature of the surface (scanning for errors), nor SMART at the time of purchase, nor disassembly and pulling out and checking by SATA in HDAT2. Well, just advertising garbage and that's it.

Ich habe meine hochkannt auf dem 120 mm-Lüfter des PC's stehen und selbst 2Tb-Backups laufen zügig und die Abwärme wird gut angeführt. Kann gut sein, daß bei mir der Schtreibcache noch Luft nach oben bringt, was ich noch überprüfen werde. Angeschlossene USB-Sticks bringen es locker über 100 MByte pro Sekunde. Entsprechende USB-Sticks vorausgesetzt. Ich hatte noch nie eine bessere und kann sie nur empfehlen.

Wer einen USB-3.0-Hub mit nur zwei Anschlüssen und einer großen Festplatte benötigt, kann mit dem Seagate Backup Plus Hub auskommen, der meist günstiger ist als die Summe seiner Teile. In unserem Fall kommt der Backup Plus Hub mit einer Barracuda Festplatte im Inneren (8 TB, 5400 RPM, 256-MB-Puffer), aber für ~15 % weniger als die Festplatte allein.
