While ZTE is about to debut the first shipping smartphone with an under-display selfie camera in a few days, Xiaomi has announced that it will be debuting a better solution next year. The company has announced that its third-generation under-screen selfie camera tech matches the expected performance of a regular front-facing camera, which it implies ZTE's technology can't yet match.
