No one gives a toss about clockspeed. It's already too high and making it higher is the definition of insanity. SD 8 Gen 3 is a throttle happy POS and Sd 8 Gen 4 will be even worse. We don't need these high frequencies in hugely thermally limited ultrathin devices like phones.

Yeah, Qualcomm's Oryon is already out of date and it's barely started shipping

Big fan of dual-mode tech, but again that 320Hz@1080p should really be 640Hz@1080p if the monitor can indeed support 160Hz@4K! Manufacturers need to chill with this linear gating of the quadratic complexity of resolution scaling.

Agree that the ports ought to support the full bandwidth that the monitor calls for.

Regarding qualcomm's upcoming snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Media Tek's upcoming dimensity 9400 in which both SoC's will be fitted on the 3nm node process which will be a significant upgrade over their 4nm node process predecessors, without saying which SoC is best, I will say this fierce competition is bringing out the best in each other which is good for rising technology. Both SoC's will be feature rich and powerful and Qualcomm loyalist and Media Tek loyalist can be grateful for this fierce competition which is the name of the game.
