Samsung has released the second firmware update to its two new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic. The update brings with it a few handy new features, but owners are already complaining about overheating issues and short battery life with LTE models.

Last year I purchased a GW3 based on the capability of this watch to provide Oxygen Sensor, Blood Pressure and even a portable ECG...well, none of these features are available in Canada and the watch turned into just a watch with some functionality not worth the money...If anybody expect GW4 a better option...well...your money!
The overheating issue on Watch 4 LTE models has not been fixed. It occurs whenever the watch is separated from the phone and goes into LTE mode. As soon as a call goes out or comes in from the watch, the watch shuts off in cool down mode. I have had three previous Galaxy watch LTE versions (Watch 3, etc.) and none of them has had this issue over overheating in LTE mode.
