Title: Garmin disables ECG functionality on new smartwatches without warning via new update
Post by: Redaktion on January 22, 2024, 17:32:00

It's no big mystery. As ECG has to be certified, it doesn't make sense to have to delay each beta build with having it recertified...

This is standard practice if you decide to sign up to the beta program. Nothing new here.

It's not without warning.  I read an article last week warning that beta software would disable ECG. Do your research before updating to a beta.
