Even though the spec sheets do not mention the exact processors, the ACH denomination added to the products names suggests that Lenovo is equipping these models with AMD's Ryzen 5000H processors. The 14p model does not get discrete graphics, but offers an OLED panel option, while the 16p version offers Nvidia RTX 3000 dGPU options and a Pantone calibrated IPS panel.

Back ports making a comeback on ultabooks? Interesting.
FHD webcams? Finally, god damn.
Nice!
Now I want to see a Ryzen 7 5800HS 35W and RTX 3060 in a slim and light ThinkPad like the X1 Extreme Capitol Riot edition.
Thr only issues I have with the ThinkBooks are the mushy keyboards, and it's unclear if the main ports are on thr back side.
I wonder if there will be Resizable BAR support for the ThinkBook 16p Gen 2. Of course I need to know which laptop Ampere GPU the ThinkBook 16p supports and the weight, but the ThinkBook 16p seems like a pretty compelling laptop to buy so far.
Looks like Lenovo starts to abandon ThinkPad series in pursuit of ThinkBook.
No news on upgradable RAM or disk, so we can assume they will both be soldered on.
Damn, I was hoping the 16p would come in at under 4 pounds.
...yyy, where is the Trackpoint?

At under 4 pounds, It would have been just like the LG Gram 17 with no GPU, which the LG Ultra 17 has and they both have the same weight. So there is no more weight to be saved without sacrificing something like the rigidity of the case or frame. Knowing Lenovo, they will probably release a non GPU variant coming out later in the year and call it "16s" lol

Looks like an improved Slim 7 Pro added the HDMI and 5000 series. I just hope it is not just vaporware.
