Notebookcheck is the best technology review website I have yet found. So can you tell me exactly why you continue to use the infantile and meaningless phrase "2X zoom"? Apple has decided to treat its "Pro" users like toddlers and at times just lie about how cameras work. It is a disgrace that this website would go along with such tactics.
Tell us the equivalent focal length, the equivalent aperture and the sensor size. That is what we need to know.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max may have more premium ultra-wide and telephoto cameras than the 12 Pro, according to reports. The 12 Pro Max will reputedly feature an 'expansive' ultra-wide camera, along with superior telephoto optics. It seems that neither device will feature periscope cameras, but Apple's new 7P lenses will be on board.
