The next entry-level iPad may quite the upgrade over its predecessor, MacRumors reports. Following the iPhone SE's product strategy, the iPad will remain affordable by Apple's standards. However, it is set to receive a new chipset and a larger display.

"However, any A12 chipset would offer substantial performance improvements over the A10 Fusion even the A12 Bionic."
What? Are you implying that they'll put an A12X/Z on their $329 iPad? I find that a bit far-fetched... even an A13 is more plausible considering they usually put phone SoCs on their lower-end iPads. I mean of course, we'll never know until it officially gets out in the wild...
Will it have Lightning or USB-C connector ?

We are talking about regular A12, not the A12X/Z...And the leaks didn't specify wheater it's a regular iPad or the iPad Air.
