Priced at £150 (about $240), the Akoya S2218 features a FullHD screen, which is quite a rarity at this price range. Usually we could only expect a 1366 x 768 display for similar money.

I travelled 20 miles to my nearest ALDI store to purchase the Mediom S2218 on the day that they went on sale only to find out that the stock was sold out in the first 15 mins of the store opening. The staff explained that each store were only given a few models. When is this model due to go on general sale?
