A new report published today by the Me2B Alliance found that as many as 60% of apps used by schools in the United States share student data with third parties. This data is typically shared immediately upon launching affected apps. Some data is shared with what Me2BA labels "very high-risk third parties" that share data they receive with other networks of vendors and organizations.
