Title: OnePlus registers 'OnePlus Pad' trademark, indicating that it's working on an Android tablet

A new contender is supposedly planning its entrance into the growing tablet market that is dominated by Apple's iPads. The Chinese brand OnePlus could be a breath of fresh air for Android's ailing tablet segment, which is primarily dominated by Samsung and its Galaxy Tab lineup.

"a company well-known for its flagship killer smartphones like the current OnePlus 9"

Please, stop. That title was lost a long time ago when they started charging the same as the other OEMs.

As for this tablet, I think they will have a tough time cracking that nut on Android.

Android tablets should just die, chromeOS is in a mature enough place to take over. Makes no sense to drop 500$+ on a tablet that will stop being supported in about a year if even that long (the exception being samsung but 3 years are still not quite enough)
