Title: Samsung announces Exynos 980 SoC with integrated 5G modem
Post by: Redaktion on September 04, 2019, 16:45:40
Samsung does not directly specify this, but the Exynos 980 appears to be aimed at premium mid-range handhelds like the top-of-the-line Galaxy A-series. Its main features include a 5G modem with E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity for downloads speeds of up to 3.5 Gbps, WiFi 6, a faster NPU, plus support for single 108 MP cams.

It relies on 4G to work. It's 5G NSA, instead of 5G SA, so it's not "true 5G".
