Die fünf in Sachen VR und AR engagierten Hersteller Nvidia, Oculus, Valve, AMD und Microsoft haben sich zu einem Industrie-Konsortium zusammengefunden und einen offenen Standard auf Basis von USB-C zum Anschluss von VR-Headsets geschaffen. Künftig reicht ein USB-Kabel um VR-Brillen anzuschließen.
