You'll no longer have to choose between resolution and refresh rate soon enough. 4K laptop displays with fast refresh rates are finally here for both ultra-smooth movements and crisper images. Previously, panels with native 120 Hz, 144 Hz, or 240 Hz native refresh rates were limited to a native resolution of only 1080p.

It does justify the 17" a little more, finally. But this panel obviously makes more sense on the Studio edition, paired with 32GB RAM...is the Studio edition vaporware or what, what's taking them so long??
The Studio edition is probably turning out to be so ridiculously expensive that they must be wondering if it's worth releasing it at all.

It would end up competing with Studiobook Pro X from Asus, which I don't think will be more expensive than Acer ConceptD9 Pro anyhow, so with this current price it's true that they can't ask for much more for that RTX5000 and additional RAM...but then the additional costs are also limited, while Asus has a whole new platform for that and Acer's is also a really small volume platform shared with only one other product.
