Modern speaker with 802.11ax (WiFi6) connectivity compared to Apple HomePod2 with ancient WiFi4 (802.11n) technology.
It's not about maximum speed but better wifi range, support for MU-MIMO, better compatibility with modern routers, WPA3, mesh setups.

I have 2 HomePod minis (also WiFi4) and I'm hearing Siri's "I'm having trouble connecting to the Internet" too often.
