Title: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gets a full-fledged PC port, hitting 60 FPS for the first time
Post by: Redaktion on May 01, 2022, 16:14:35
The unofficial Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time PC port recently received support for a 60 FPS framerate update, significantly improving the gameplay experience from the N64 original. The port doesn't use reverse-engineered source code, unlike Super Mario 64, making it less likely to run afoul of legal challenges.

I wonder how this article's accuracy is so non-existent.

Emulators have been able to do this for years...

The amount of inaccuracy on this article is ridiculous, just like with the Mario 64 PC port, the Ocarina of Time PC for uses the decompilation. The reason both PC ports don't run aground on legal terms is because they still require a ROM to retrieve the game assets.
