Google is gearing to release Android 12L, the next version of Android intended for tablets. Based on various leaks, it seems likely that one of the first devices to showcase Android 12L will be the so-called Pixel Tab, which was initially expected to launch last year.

Sorry Google, but you've completely shafted me with the Nexus 10, pixel c, and pixel slate. The hardware was really excellent, but support and innovation was non existent once the device was released, I have to run a rooted 3rd party os to get new features and improvements

i'm not buying another Google tablet because of this.
