It isn't the QHD that costs $550, its the silly AniMe Matrix display that adds to the cost. Look up what it is, its just fancy brag rights stuff.

the GA401IU-BS76 seems like it will be the most popular - there are very limited gains from the 1660ti to the 2060 and the 16gb of ram is nice

Asus G14 price is high not just because of CPU and GPU. It is because of slim design and less weight just like gigabyte aero.
