Samsung's Galaxy S9 devices have been said to be numerical improvements over the S8 devices but you wouldn't think that if you saw their sales numbers. The flagships finally overtook the iPhone X and iPhone 8 pair to become the best-selling smartphones in the world in April, although there's an obvious reason for that.
