Gigabyte has outdone itself with the 2022 AORUS and AERO laptop series by fixing every user complaint about their predecessors in one fell swoop. The new AORUS and AERO laptops sport 90% screen-to-body ratio, more orthodox camera placement, and all the modern bells and whistles like fast 4K 120Hz mini-LED or OLED displays, 360Hz IPS panels for gamers, plus up to RTX 3080 Ti GPU and Core-i9 Alder Lake processing specs and Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Are the displays for the aero 15/16 60hz? It's not specified.
The Gigabyte Aero 16 looks promising with 16:10 display, IPS (miniLED) option (for the most interesting AERO 16 XE5 configuration with 12700H and 3070TI), 45W CPU / 80W GPU balance (good for GPU-heavy tasks), 2x Thunderbolt 4 with DP and PD, ordinarily sized arrow / page keys, 99W battery and Windows 11 Pro option.
For the record, I would prefer a 4:3 or 3:2 display ratio and no camera bump (instead of the tiny bezels).
My major questions are:
- Prices?
- German keyboard (QWERTZ) available?
- Display matte, semi-matte or glare; degree of reflectance?
- Maximum noise under GPU load?
Further questions:
- RAM latency?
- SSD 4K read / write values (of every used SSD model varying by region)?
