Title: Not worth your time: The average Intel Core i7-9750H is just 6 percent faster than the Core i7-8750H

If you already own a Core i7-8750H laptop or are planning to upgrade from an older model, don't even bother with the 9th gen Core i7 series. The raw performance benefits are as minor as they can get between the two generations based on the 25+ 9th gen Intel laptops we've tested thus far.

This is old news, 9880H is the real succesor and it is worth the upgrade.

@cadsdasdsadsa
Yeah right. Show me one 9880H laptop that doesn't thermal or power throttle HARD.

While I do admit 6 to 8 cores is definitely an upgrade and 9th-gen CAN be faster given enough power and cooling capacity, literally none of the laptops in the market can run them at full potential. So yeah, rather get an 8750H.

Also, old news or not it was worth taking the time testing out 25 different laptops just to make sure the point is driven.

Single core performance has not much improved from 8th gen.
