The successor of the Miix 510 convertible uses a Kaby Lake processor and sports a fanless design, also featuring an augmented reality camera and a fingerprint scanner. It should be announced soon and is expected to carry a rather high price tag.

I like where the new model lineup of Miix 5xx is heading. I also hope this will create some friction into the market and we'll see a well-made Surface Pro 5 coming into the scene also!
I'm looking to make a huge improvement for my new laptop as I am coming from a lower-end Asus T100TA and sadly enough I am dependent on digitizer with pen-input support (nothing artistically, I only need them to fully replace a notepad).
Seeing these rumors, like for upcoming Miix 520 and Surface Pro 5, is the only think that keeps me holding back from purchasing right away.
