Title: Tesla's design chief tips 'flying' Roadster 2 release, says Apple products no longer an inspiration

Tesla finally has some exciting news about the follow-up to its original Roadster EV as its design chief hinted they are still "feverishly" working on its development though a release probably won't happen before 2023. Tesla's design exec also said that Apple has long dropped the ball on the looks and excitement its products bring.

Huh, I was sure they drew inspiration from shiny shoes.
Modern car design is garbage.

Getting ahead of himself. Telsa hasn't had inspiring design since the Model S and that's 10years old. The designer doesn't even work for Tesla anymore.

Tesla maybe successful in company market cap but it's designs leave a lot to be desired, certainly a derivative at best to the Model S.
