Dude, ARM also works with 'Silicon transistors switch between states in order to process data'. How do you think works??? One thing is the x86 architecture which is indeed old and different from ARM, but it is scary that you are thinking ARM does not work with silicon transistors!

That part was alluding to the plastic CPUs mentioned later on in that section. Perhaps it was not distinct enough from the architecture discussion, but not at all meant to say ARM doesn't use silicon transistors.
