Single-core performance figures of the new Intel Core i7-11375H Special Edition from a purported Asus TUF Dash F15 laptop have leaked. The scores seem to indicate perceivable improvements over the Core i7-10750H and a significant lead over the AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS. Though these are still early leaks, they seem to be in the ballpark of what Intel claimed during its CES announcement of the Tiger Lake-H35 series.

As far as this particular test is concerned the above results appear to show virtually the same performance between the Intel i7-11375H and AMD 5980HS; the latter also sporting twice as many cores and threads (8/16 vs. 4/8).

Where all those EVO 28+W TDP devices? It is really hard to believe in Intel at 35+W after that story.

We already know TGL is faster than Renoir in single core - it's not surprising to see it perform so well with a higher TDP, given how thirsty it is. It's going to be competing with Cezanne, though, and the multi-core scores there will be an absolute bloodbath.
8-core 45W TGL-H probably won't help much in that regard, at least not without applying a cooling solution capable of handling a sustained ~100W of heat.

In single-core performance yes, but not in multi-core (this is where Zen 3 will destroy Tiger Lake).
Also, Intel tends to be more power hungry than AMD, so maintaining those high clocks will be challenging - and as we already know, AMD is better at maintaining its clocks than Intel does in laptops (but I'm sure some OEM's will go out of their way to design better cooling for those Intel chips and not necessarily give AMD the same treatment - the screens they tend to ship AMD laptops with aren't of particularly good quality).
They also picked the worst performing laptop sporting a 4800HS cpu for the comparison. If they had used the intel one in the Stealth 15, which probably has worse cooling for it's i7-11375H, it probably wouldn't have been as interesting. That said, I applaud intel and this site for their spin on the story.
Not really seeing the point of these new CPU's.
In my MSI Stealth 15m, its got a 58W PL2 Turbo limit and 48W PL1 limit, so it does 4.7ghz single core turbo all day and does its all core turbo of 4.3ghz all the time, so this new CPU really isn't anything more than a slightly better power specs (higher)

The cooling in the Stealth 15m for the i7 1185G7 is extremely good, I have one, it does its all core 4.3ghz turbo 98% the time, also hits the single core turbo all the time.
This laptop basically doesn't power limit throttle it just thermal throttles but can hit it's max boost clocks all the time, so how does it have worse cooling.
In essence my Stealth 15m has the i7 11375H because it will draw 48w indefinitely
