Sony India has confirmed that it has finally set a release date for the PlayStation 5 (PS5): February 2, 2021, although pre-orders start from January 12 in the country. However, those hoping to reserve a Digital Edition have had their hopes dashed by blogs claiming the company has told them this version is not coming during this early-year launch period.

It's just a temporary phenomenon. Supply will catch up in a few months.

Until then: don't lose your savings in crypto and other supposedly "hot investments" because smart money leaves the market once mass/social media and ads pump out news about quick wins.
