Title: Samsung jumps on the LFP and solid-state EV battery production bandwagon
Post by: Redaktion on March 17, 2023, 13:00:35
Samsung, which counts VW, GM, BMW, and Volvo among its EV battery clients, will start work on the trendy LFP and solid-state battery technologies. The LFP cells will be pivotal for the move to cheap mass market electric vehicles like the VW ID.2all or the Tesla Model 2.

My hope is for Samsung and other manufacturers to speed up solid state battery production so I'll go mainstream asap. EV's and phones are sure to benefit from it. Also my hope it that they make those batteries compatible with existing devices that currently use lithium ion batteries, if so then my Google pixel 4a(5G) and one plus 11 phones will really benefit from it.
