Still waiting for the full review guys!  ;D
Can't wait to read it

Many thanks for the extremely thorough review!

I wonder if the battery drain discrepancy with the MSI laptop (which for most intents and purposes should be close to identical) can be mitigated by slight undervolting of the CPU and/or a more aggressive power profile tuning? Have you checked whether their power profiles are different? (I assume the software set is identical between the tested laptops.)

In future laptop reviews can you measure hinge opening angles? Sometimes laptops have very limited hinges which can be quite problematic to work with.

Really one of the best Review of all time. I have never seen such kind of detailed review over the web.

Hi. Thanks for your reviews guys!
They are the only legit ones.

I'm wondering if you will be reviewing 4k version? I'm very much interested in it. Thanks!

for anyone buying this laptop and is sensitive to PWM, BEWARE there are 2 suppliers for the 144Hz screen. There is the one in this review, made by LG and another made by BOE (BOE HF NV156FHM-N4G) The BOE model has TERRIBLE PWM. While I can't measure it properly, i used my camera, and took pics while changing the shutter speed between pics until the evidence of flicker was not noticeable. Doing so, i was able to find that at 1/200 s shutter speed, aka 200Hz, the camera and backlight were almost completely in sync, with which a conclusion can be drawn that the BOE panel used on the Blade 15 has a PWM of 200Hz. Further more, the flickering was noticeable at all brightness levels lower than 100%.

tl;dr
the 144Hz BOE panel has a PWM frequency of approximately 200Hz at any brightness level below 100%. Getting a Blade 15 with the LG display is a gamble.

I bought it few weeks ago and after not even 10 days, it is already broke down!!
The customer service is as bad as it could possible be. They promise 3-5 business days to fix it. Now  more that 10 days are already passed by !!! Really bad experience given the amount of money they ask??
