Title: Jaguar I-Pace burns down after charging overnight in another scary EV fire incident
Post by: Redaktion on August 02, 2022, 22:24:12
The brave owner of the British luxury car managed to remove the heavily smoking EV from his garage in order to protect his house from the flames. Purportedly, this is the fourth Jaguar I-Pace that has caught fire under these kind of circumstances.

Terrible news.  Hope he is AOK.  Weekly Tesla fires now this. So far only the Nissan Leaf has had no battery fires.

I heard some discouraging numbers for battery fires in China.  If politicians ever wanted an excuse to bam sonething Tesla and other manufacturers are making it happen.

The photo appears to be potential fake. May want to verify the source

Hi John,
the source article provides a video of an I-Pace burning on this exact street. Also, Jaguar has already commented on this incident and said it is in contact with the owner and actively investigating the fire. I don't see any indication for this story or picture being fake.
