Title: Samsung to lower memory prices and expand production capacity to regain market share
Post by: Redaktion on December 28, 2022, 16:55:34
Instead of fearing the IT market recession, Samsung will embrace it to expand its market share by slashing prices of its DRAM chips. Not only that, but similar to other recessionary for the IT industry periods, Samsung will use the time for production capacity expansion.

This is interesting considering they just said they're raising SSD (or possibly NAND, don't remember) prices.

It was for this that the Americans began to choke YMTC(how Apple panicked in 2019, realizing that Huawei was becoming the leader, after which, Huawei immediately blocked the supply of equipment and chips) - western manufacturers of NAND chips panicked , realizing that YMTC would bring more down prices by another 2 times by the end of 2023. And this is a paradise for buyers of the entire planet. Instead, the Americans are slowly building a new Hell for buyers by printing money and destroying globalization under the pretext of protecting certain "rights' and "freedoms" of a person that they really don't care about.
