Xiaomi has just been granted a patent for a tablet-like device that folds down the middle to form a much thinner phone-like form with an additional display on its front. In other words, it looks and seems to function much like Samsung's first-gen premium foldable phone. Therefore, the Chinese OEM might be on the brink of moving into this category itself.
