Title: Tiny IOGEAR GUD3C460 USB-C docking station turns your Android smartphone into a desktop
Post by: Redaktion on July 08, 2020, 06:40:56
This $40 USD 4-in-1 adapter is as small and light as most single-purpose adapters. If you want to make your USB-C ports more useful, then the IOGEAR GUD3C460 will be a boon to your home office or workspace.

Now if they can take it a step further and make a modular laptop that you put your phone in and use as a laptop.

Well there is Nexdock, where you have to connect phone via cable USB-C so it's hanging around and it's not "clean" solution (nicer would be to insert phone in the laptop's body). But otherwise it does exactly what you want.

It would be very helpful if someone would post a list of compatible phones. Is it ALL phones with usb-c 3.1??

Their sales would probably triple if people could find out if their phone (or phone they were going to purchase) is compatible.

Thanks, Joe

I know about that, but I want it to be insert, not hanging on a wire. Kind of like the old transform.
