Title: Lenovo Ideapad 510-15ISK Notebook Review
Post by: Redaktion on October 07, 2016, 05:41:29
A vision in white. Although the tester wouldn't want to marry the light and compact, 15-inch multimedia device by Lenovo, he doesn't have anything against a business relationship. The newcomer with a dedicated GeForce 940MX did not really show any major shortcomings in the test. The most striking feature, however, remains to be the unusual color that will certainly also appeal to female users.

I'm not sure how the color appeals to me. I definitely prefer my Dell 7559 over this.

Thermal paste exchange after 2 years of using laptop - made it 5 Celsius degree cooler to operate. Crappy design of internal cooling (combo with one heatpipe - CPU connected by heatpipe with GPU). So Lenovo made thermal limits inside BIOS which is 61 Celsius degree - than it thermal throttles (downclocks GPU and VRAM also downvolts GPU - as a result you are loosing 50% of framerate in some games). This is horrible - they even cutted out option to disable HT in BIOS.
