With the Ideapad L340-17API, Lenovo delivers a 17.3-inch laptop that can score points with a strong Ryzen 5 3500U APU, a solid state drive, good battery life and a quite good keyboard. Unfortunately, it does not lack weaknesses: In this case, a TN panel with unstable viewing angles is in use, and the RAM is only able to run in single-channel mode. In addition, there is no memory card reader.

mother of god save us from 200 nit screens. you must be dumb as hell buying it.
it seems the newer ryzens is a big step to the better(lower) idle consumption numbers.
im typing from his slightly older brother now, 330-17, same great looking case and good keyboard, but ips. a bit dim also, i think ~250-270 nit. something wrong with lenovo's screens in general.
..
dear notebookcheck why are you keep testing models 1-channel memory?
it makes no sense
it is misleading
one channel is for an immediate upgrade. there is no reason to use any pc with 1 channel. desktop, laptop, for gaming, browsing, working.
it is a customer choice, to buy 2 channels or to buy 1 channel and 1 memory module to save some money. you always has this choice.
you just did something worthless. again. and i dont understand why are you keep doing it. all your measurements and conclusions regarding productivity and emissions are wrong. stop it. upgrade is easy.
