The world's largest EV battery maker just unveiled the promised condensed cell breakthrough that will lead to the highest energy density battery in mass production. At up to 500 Wh/kg, the new Condensed Battery features a number of innovations as it is meant for electric planes and high-performance EVs.

I would like see the evidence these 500 wh per kg batteries are real. Is this real?  Talking is not the same as providing samples to independent testing labs and bpublishing the results.

We have already heard such assurances 100 times for years. If these figures are correct, we will soon see laptop and smartphone batteries with x1.5+ times the capacity for the same battery weight. If it doesn't, it's all just another marketing lie.
